With “Why Do You Lie To Me,” the 28-year-old German producer Topic hopes to prolong his golden moment. “Breaking Me” has not yet run out of charts, with a #3 + gold in the UK and several certifications in ten countries. The follow-up builds upon the previous one, with deep-house sound and the vocal of Swedish Alexander “A7S” Tidebrink. The two are good at not making it too similar (as Regard did), and the surprise featuring of the American rapper Lil Baby proves to be right. “Why Do You Lie To Me” will have to wait a few months to be noticed, but it can become the third international hit of the DJ born in ’92 if we also count “Home” in 2015.
