The project Silk City was stopped in 2018, maybe because Mark Ronson and Diplo were waiting for the right idea and the right featuring. The waiting was rewarded with “New Love,” the House/Pop track sung by Ellie Goulding. Her voice is immediately recognizable, and this seems, for us, the perfect chance to relaunch herself after the audience has ignored her recent album. Achieving similar results to that of the global-hit “Electricity” by the Anglo-American duo with Dua Lipa will not be very simple. Still, the quality of this work is undoubtedly very high.
