All the renowned producers want to collaborate with Ella Henderson, and among them, Rudimental couldn’t be missing from the long list. With “Alibi,” the English trio returns to the roots of drum & bass, and especially soul, thanks to the reference to “Pastime Paradise” (Stevie Wonder, 1976). It’s obvious, but let’s also recall the well-known “Gangsta’s Paradise” (Coolio, 1995), also based on that sample.

Collaborating with the duo Punctual, mentioned in the credits, Rudimental produces a perfect track for the charts and for the voice of the vocalist born in ’96, in the small town of Tetney in Lincolnshire.
