By referring to our past article (we talked about it here), this 2021 promises to be quite fascinating and full of news in the EDM scene. Mostly because during the past year, producers spent many months locked in their studios.
Besides, to produce music to which they are already affiliated, many artists have used this moment to reflect about themselves by reworking and experimenting with something new. For example, Don Diablo has just released “Into The Unknown.”
The Don’s latest track is pretty different if compared to what you are used to expecting from him, diverging a lot from the genre of which he is the absolute King: the Future House.
“Into The Unknown” is expressed in its melody, partly disturbing, characterized by constant deep basses, holding a persistent melancholic tonality to the track’s entire duration.
The producer’s distorted voice guides us during the entire duration of the track, perfectly matching with the extremely treated music video.
Often is exactly by proposing something new, or diverging from what is already well known, that a producer can continue to express his art without becoming trivial. EDM Lab fully approves this; we are happy whenever an artist proposes something new to his audience.
