Don Diablo is about to release the new album “FOREVER“(10/09/2021) that will contain no less than 21 tracks, and they certainly won’t all be future-house or similar.
And in fact, the current track “Hot Air Balloon” is inserted in the wake of the already known “Kill Me Better” and “Tears For Later,” also more experimental. The Dutch producer flirts with indie-folk and hosts vocal duo AR/CO, formed by Australian singer-songwriter Mali-Koa and British Leo Stannard.
The idea of an artist collaboration is from a few months ago, and you may have already appreciated them in their very recent debut, “Run Run,” together with Will Clarke and Jaded. Coming back to Don Diablo, “Hot Air Balloon” reminds us of the same mixture of genres as The Avener with “Fade Out Lines” and the others from the album released in 2015 by the French colleague.
