If you have been following us for some time, you know that we cover music news, and that every Friday through our “Best of Today #Release” we manage to introduce you to and listen to a lot of good music from the best artists in the EDM scene. Often, however, they are always the same, given the musical liquidity that overpowers us these days.
What if for once, in this list of names, we read again, “Avicii” ?
It happened a few days ago, thanks to the American-born country group “Zac Brown Band,” which in 2015 had made a name for itself with “Beautiful Drug“. For those who do not know them, they have been on the scene since 2002, thanks in part to their ability to succeed in blending different musical genres such as precisely country (much loved in America), rock and folk music. This characteristic, always liked by Tim Bergling, led him to collaborate with them at that time, just for a remix of Beautiful Drug.
The remix in question had never been revealed, but now it has been completed and is finally available officially. In this work by Avicii we can notice the attention to certain details, typical of our Swedish darling, but also a very Tropical House sound, slightly different from what Tim offered us back in the day. The Zac Brown Band‘s attitude of mixing genres has definitely been understood and revisited even by Avicii and we are super happy to read his name again among the Friday releases.
