Who said an instrumental track can’t become a hit? Whoever said that is completely wrong. There are many examples to prove it, and the first one that comes to mind is Eric Prydz’s Pjanoo. When a track is well-crafted, it doesn’t always need a voice to complete the journey, and that’s precisely the case with the track we want to introduce you to this summer: “Melody of the Music Man” by Secret Wish.
The duo, Secret Wish, hails from Belgium with the idea of “combining Pop music and Dance sounds to bring a smile and make us dance”. Kurt is a long-time musician, writing tracks since 2000, studying music, and playing in clubs since he was 17. Heidi, also a musician and singer, has participated in various music bands and is now part of Secret Wish. The duo was even nominated for an MMA Award in 2010 in the Dance category.

The track they recently released is called “Melody of the Music Man,” and as we mentioned earlier, it’s an instrumental and melodic track. The song is rich with influences from various branches of the EDM world. It’s a self-release, but within a few days, it has garnered significant acclaim, leading to a full-fledged remix EP. “Melody of the Music Man” has already been remixed by several interesting names like DIM3NSION, DJ Combo and Rayman and DADDIES HOME!
Since its release, the track has been presented in various musical styles, from electro to trance, all contained in an EP available on Spotify. The track has already achieved significant milestones, such as reaching #18 on the Music Week UK’s Pop Charts.
