After more than one year, Maceo Plex finally dropped one of the most anticipated ID tracks in electronic music history, ‘All Night,’ together with Oscar and The Wolf on Friday, 21 October, on Higher Ground Sub Label/Imprint Of Diplo’s Label MAD DECENT.
The very first play of ‘All Night’ was at Maceo Plex’s Exit Festival performance in July 2021 (listen to the first play here), which triggered the search for one of the watched IDs of the summer on 1001tracklists.com on 2021-2022 with 36 watched.
Maceo Plex All Night has something hauntingly-atmospheric and mysterious, and let that be just the ideal mood for Max Colombie. Still, the song gradually breaks open a little more danceable than it seems on first hearing.
Last week it was announced with unexpectedly the release of this ID track and releasing an upcoming album for 2023 in a post on Facebook social network:
Max (the lead singer) and I worked really hard on this beast as the 2nd single off my upcoming album dropping next year. More details on that soon.
“All Night” is a Plex shift dimension with a tunneling infectious sick trap techno track in its most essential guise. Revolving around deep and pulsating danceable synth beats that make for a slick, while the verses it’s thick and dark, featuring the sensual voice of the pop singer Max Colombie brings us catchy vocals. This record exists to ignite a party, perfect techno festival energy.
