Do you remember Kiesza? Yes, the one from Hideaway, in 2014. We hadn’t heard from her in a while, and now she’s back with two new singles released on the same day.
The two new singles by the Canadian singer are called “Dancing & Crying” and “Heaven Ain’t Calling,” and they follow, just like Hideaway, a mix of electronic and melodic sounds, spiced up by her incredible voice. They are part of an EP called Dancing & Crying, which will gradually build over these months. The EP will contain 6 tracks and will be released on May 24, 2024.
In “Heaven Ain’t Calling,” the second released track, we also hear a strong Tech House influence. Before these two songs, we heard Kiesza with “Egyptian Sun” in 2023, but the song didn’t achieve the desired success. There are no prominent collaborations on the EP, but we expect some important remixes in the future.
Fun fact: the EP’s artwork will be a stylized egg as if it were a disco ball, all immersed in space. Once again, a mix of elements confirms the versatility of this extraordinary artist.
