Between the long-awaited kickoff of their Paradise Again tour with stops in Miami, New York City’s Madison Square Garden, Toronto, and Ilesoniq thus far— dropping of “Turn On the Lights again..” with Fred again.., and a last-minute, Boiler Room-style show in Queens, Swedish House Mafia is keeping their foot on the gas by sharing an full live set from Ushuaia Ibiza Club in a high-quality recording for ‘Essential Mix’ presented by BBC Radio 1
The trio have typically held live set recordings close to the chest in years past. But after a surprise upload of their perfomance of Coachella set back in June, it seems like they’re all in on allowing fans to re-experience some of their newest shows like the appearance at Ushuaïa presented on BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix in more than a decade. After supplying BBC with a thirty-minute mix for Radio 1 Dance Weekend exactly a year ago, Swedish House Mafia went back to give it a proper full-length session with their Ushuaïa two hours set opening with their “Can U Feel It” introductory edit before rinsing several unreleased 2022 reworks, some edm anthem “Laktos,” “Apologize,” and “Calling” mashup, the forenamed single with Fred again.. with “Sufficate,” Axwell’s unreleased “Moth To A Flame” remode, and their closing edit of “Save The World” with “For You” and “Don’t You Worry Child.”
