Carl Cox is best known for bringing his musical style to places where no one has ever been before, but this time he has outdone himself.
The pioneering DJ and producer, following his double closing at the RESISTANCE stage of last week’s Ultra Music Festival, has announced that on May 19, 2023, he will be the headliner of a rare event at the Great Pyramids of Giza in Egypt.
The oldest of the seven wonders of the ancient world will thus see the Techno king and his timeless tracks take center stage, just like the Pyramids of Giza, which were “built” to last for eternity.
The tombs were erected approximately 4,500 years ago using around 2.3 million stone blocks, each weighing up to 15 tons, according to National Geographic. In short, Carl Cox is ready to make history once again.
