After selling his private NFT collection for just $4.25 million, Steve Aoki is going all-in on the digital art industry.
In collaboration with renowned designer Antony Tudisco, Aoki’s debut collection “Dream Catcher” was sold on Nifty Gateway, one of the largest NFT marketplaces on the web. The artist also paid the modest sum of $800,000 to acquire a rare piece of the industry called “Hairy.”
“Music has always been my life, but I’m also a collector of various art forms and NFT gave me the opportunity to finally merge art, culture, and music.”
NFTs are digital collectibles whose ownership is verified and certified by blockchain technology, ensuring their authenticity.
