When thinking about music, what can we expect from the incoming 2021? Notably, will the events be live again?
All of us, fans, are tired of this period. Besides, the situation is harmful to the whole sector. The whole music business world, particularly live shows and music festivals, is on hold everywhere – or at least, almost everywhere, given the recent Ultra event in Taiwan.
Among the hypotheses of a vaccine by the first months of 2021 and the growth of more reliable rapid tests, people are thinking about hosting live events again in the future.
Swallow Events, the English giant of events planning, recently announced a partnership with Roche for a rapid test. Together with other data, hygiene, and safety protocols, the new solution should allow safer access to the events. The estimation is that the test operates in 15 minutes, announcing whether the person is positive or negative to COVID-19.
While waiting for the Government’s approval and good news about the vaccines’ mass distribution, it is time to start programming the new festival season worldwide, hoping to revive the business that we all love.
