Steve Aoki does not stop exploring his alternative passions. Indeed, after Pokémon’s card games (read about it here), pizzerias, and a journey around the Moon with Space X, he finally launched his E1 racing team to hit the water tracks and move forward with his father’s legacy—a return to his roots.
Aoki’s team’s journey will begin in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, in January 2024 to compete in the World Championship UIM E1.
The UIM E1 is the first worldwide electric racing boat competition.
The main feature of these boats is that they are not mere racing boats but proper builds with advanced aerodynamics similar to F1 racing cars.
