This year, the label of Nicky Romero turns ten years. For the fifth anniversary, Protocol Recordings released a remix collection of its most successful tracks. Now, for its tenth birthday, the Protocol team decided to officially launch Protocol Lab.
This new project was born in 2017 as a concept. Every year, it collects several tracks in a compilation for ADE.
Then, the concept was expanded to the live performances, calling “Protocol Lab” the stages and the events branded by the Protocol team in Miami and Amsterdam.
Now, Nicky Romero and co. launched the ultimate version of this project. Friday 3rd of June 2022, Protocol Lab became a label, sub-label of Protocol Recordings. The idea of the team is to create a subsidiary that allows Protocol to experiment and range among several musical genres, giving space to the upcoming producers.
The first release of the sub-label of Protocol is “Stuck On You” by Repiet and Andrew A. It is a track a bit Big Room and a bit Future House. It has a summer taste.
