Kygo finally joined a valuable club on Spotify.
It is the “Billions Club,” a playlist that contains all the tracks which reached at least one billion streams.
The Kygo’s track which reached and exceeded one billion streams is “Firestone.” He released it in 2015, then the track became a critical checkpoint for the career of the Norwegian DJ and producer. Firestone has been the starting point of a genre: the Tropical House, which later became a real musical movement.
“Wow! ‘Firestone’ exceeded one billion streams on Spotify!! It’s crazy, I’m always thankful for all the love which my fans show for this song… after nine years, I still finish my sets with this track. Every time I listen to you while you are singing it during my set, I have goosebumps.”
