After the antisemitic comments by Kanye West, The Chainsmokers are removing “Kanye” from streaming platforms. The song was published in 2014 and celebrated the rapper who had disgraced.
On the 9th of October, West published a post about the Jewish community on Twitter. This post caused every kind of comment on the web. The Jewish community defined this tweet as: “a fierce antisemitic comment” to encourage “the hatred towards Jews.”

This week, The Chainsmokers took action on social media, announcing that they will withdraw “Kanye” from Spotify, Apple Music, and other streaming platforms. The lyrics of the celebratory song reads as follows: “I wanna be like Kanye.“
