After months of silence, following the dissolution of the iconic and legendary duo (we talked about it here), comes great news from France. Obviously, we are talking about Daft Punk.
Thomas Bengalter, a member of the duo, has announced that in the summer of 2022 the first posthumous project to Daft Punk will arrive.
The silver-helmeted robot says he’s hard at work composing Mythologies. It is a ballet that will be staged at the Grand Theatre de Bordeaux from July 1 to 10, 2022. An evocative show that will have as its theme myths and rituals of popular tradition.
It will be a 90-minute show performed by the Orchestre National Bordeaux Aquitanie led by conductor Romain Dumas. The whole will be directed by choreographer Angelin Preljocaj and staged by the corps de ballet Ballet Preljocaj.
