Ultra Music Festival Miami 2026 is just around the corner and, as every year, the Bayfront Park festival is preparing to welcome some of the biggest names in global electronic music. However, by taking a closer look at this year’s official lineup, several major absences immediately stand out.
Despite Ultra remaining one of the most prestigious festivals in the global EDM scene, several top-tier artists will not appear on stage during the 2026 edition.
Among the most surprising absences from Ultra Music Festival 2026 we find Tiësto, who could certainly have delivered one of the most anticipated sets of the season following his return to trance. Nora En Pure is one of the most beloved figures in the international melodic house and deep house scene, so her absence is definitely noticeable. Another major missing name is David Guetta. Also missing are Kygo, Anyma, Calvin Harris (a rare absence in these parts), Skrillex, who thrilled everyone on the mainstage last year.
Also absent are names such as Zedd, Marshmello, Peggy Gou, FISHER, Dom Dolla, Chris Lake, CamelPhat, Porter Robinson and The Chainsmokers.

Naturally, the absence of these names does not reduce the prestige of the festival. This year Ultra Music Festival has chosen a lineup featuring many new names from the global electronic music scene. This constant ability to renew itself is one of the key elements that has made Ultra one of the most important events in the world for electronic music fans.
New names making their debut on the Ultra Miami 2026 stage
It’s a sign of the new generation rising, the result of a transformation in the EDM industry driven by new pillars of electronic music. This year at Ultra 2026 we will see emerging standout artists such as:
Marlon Hoffstadt, ¥ØU$UK€ ¥UK1MAT$U (the Japanese DJ who became famous online for his extremely fast and unpredictable sets). The project HALŌ (Matisse & Sadko, DubVision, Third Party), dedicated to progressive house, will also make its debut. We will also see the melodic techno signature of Ukrainian DJ Korolova, Massano, and ISOxo, one of the most innovative bass music producers of the new American scene.
From the techno world we will also see Miss Monique and Sara Landry. (RESISTANCE lineup)
Full Ultra Music Festival lineup
In short, despite some notable absences, the UMF26 lineup does not seem likely to disappoint expectations. In fact, it almost feels like the festival wants to raise the bar and reaffirm its spirit of innovation. There is a strong focus on genres such as melodic techno and hard techno, but also the new bass music and a revival touch with the genre that helped make this festival legendary: progressive house.
