MTV VMAs 2026 – Votazioni Aperte

Anche questo agosto, come ormai consueto, si aprono le votazioni degli MTV VMAs (Video Music Awards).

Anche per il 2026 sono tantissime le categorie che celebrano i migliori artisti, videoclip e produzioni musicali degli ultimi mesi. Tra le novità di quest’anno c’è il fatto che sono 13 le categorie nelle quali il pubblico può esprimere la propria preferenza, oltre al ritorno della categoria Best Dance, che mancava ai VMAs dal 2019. Qui, tra i nominati, troviamo Tate McRae, Bebe Rexha & Faithless, Harry Styles, Lady Gaga & Doechii, Madonna, PinkPantheress & Zara Larsson e Slayyyter.

Passando invece al Pop, tra i protagonisti delle nomination troviamo alcuni dei più grandi nomi della scena internazionale, insieme a numerose nuove leve. A guidare la classifica degli artisti più nominati quest’anno è Madonna, con ben 11 nomination, seguita da Taylor Swift con 9. Ariana Grande e Sabrina Carpenter ottengono 7 nomination ciascuna, mentre Bruno Mars, PinkPantheress e Zara Larsson ne raccolgono 5. Complessivamente sono 26 gli artisti alla loro prima nomination ai VMAs.

Quando e come votare

Il periodo di voto online è iniziato martedì 18 agosto 2026 alle ore 9:00 ET e terminerà venerdì 25 settembre 2026 alle ore 18:00 ET. Per votare è sufficiente andare sul sito ufficiale vote.mtv.com ed esprimere la propria preferenza. È possibile votare quotidianamente nelle categorie previste dal voto del pubblico, mentre la votazione per Best New Artist resterà aperta fino alla serata della premiazione.

La cerimonia di premiazione degli MTV Video Music Awards 2026 si terrà domenica 27 settembre 2026 al Peacock Theater di Los Angeles, tornando sulla West Coast per la prima volta dal 2017. Lo show sarà trasmesso live alle 19:30 ET / 16:30 PT su CBS e in simulcast su MTV, mentre sarà disponibile in streaming su Paramount+ negli Stati Uniti. La disponibilità internazionale su Paramount+ e MTV è prevista dal giorno successivo.
