È tempo di Nominations per i Grammy del 2026, sarà la 68esima edizione del più ambito premio musicale al mondo. Noi, come sempre, ci soffermeremo sulle uniche categorie inerenti al mondo musicale Dance/Elettronico.
Le nomination sono state svelate lo scorso venerdì 7 novembre e comprendono brani/registrazioni/uscite incluse nel periodo che va dal 31 agosto 2024 al 30 agosto 2025.
La cerimonia di premiazione avverrà il prossimo 1 febbraio 2026 alla Crypto.com Arena di Los Angeles.
Prima di vedere le categorie Pop e Dance, vediamo alcune novità della prossima edizione:
Sono state aggiunte due nuove categorie che riportano il nome di Best Traditional Country Album e Best Album Cover. Ne avevamo davvero bisogno?? Forse, perchè il cambiamento delle categorie riflette un adattamento alle evoluzioni dell’industria musicale (inclusi packaging, arte dell’album, dischi “direct-to-fan”).
SPOLIER: Uno dei protagonisti delle nomination è Kendrick Lamar, che guida con 9 nomination.
L’edizione 2026 è ancora trasmessa da CBS e in streaming su Paramount+.
